Executive Team

Edward Goldthorpe is a Partner leading the Global Credit Business at BC Partners. Prior to this role, he served as President of Apollo Investment Corporation and Chief Investment Officer of Apollo Investment Management, where he oversaw the U.S. Opportunistic Platform. Before joining Apollo, Mr. Goldthorpe spent 13 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently managing the bank loan distressed investing desk and contributing extensively to their Special Situations Group.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Goldthorpe actively contributes to several organizations. He serves on the Global Advisory Board for Queen’s School of Business and holds board positions with Crescent Point Energy, Kits Eyecare Ltd., Her Justice, the Canadian Olympic Foundation, and Capitalize for Kids.

Mr. Goldthorpe earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.

Henry Wang joined BC Partners Credit in New York in 2017 as part of the founding team. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Stonerise Capital Partners, where he spent over five years. Before Stonerise, Henry worked for more than seven years at Goldman Sachs, contributing to both the Special Situations Group and the Investment Banking Division. He also gained experience at Vulcan Capital, the investment firm founded by Paul Allen (co-founder of Microsoft), and at Thomas Weisel Partners.

Mr. Wang earned his BSBA from Boston University and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Mr. Satoren currently serves as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of BCP Investment Corporation (Nasdaq: BCIC) (“BCIC”) and has held similar roles since May 2021with the public interval funds managed by the Company’s wholly owned and minority owned investment advisers. Prior to that, Mr. Satoren previously worked at PennantPark Investment Advisers, LLC, as a Vice President and Controller on their Finance & Operations team from June 2019 to May 2021. Prior to PennantPark, Mr. Satoren worked for AQR Capital Management, LLC, and, prior to AQR Capital Management, LLC, he spent approximately nine years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their Asset Management Assurance practice. Mr. Satoren holds a BBA from the University of Central Florida. Mr. Satoren is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Colorado and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

David Held serves as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of Mount Logan Capital Inc., and has served as the Chief Compliance Officer, Credit for BC Partners since 2021. Previously, David was Chief Compliance Officer with Lyxor Asset Management. Prior to that, he held senior compliance positions at American Securities, AXA Investment Managers and Bank of America. Mr. Held has a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Jordan Mangum joined BC Partners Credit in 2022 and is a Director on the Investment Team in New York. He supports Mount Logan Capital across several initiatives, including corporate development, investor relations, and capital markets. Prior to this role, Mr. Mangum was at Onex, where he supported the private credit investment team as well as corporate development initiatives, including acquisitions and strategy launches. Earlier, he spent five years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch focused on debt capital markets, including leveraged finance and sponsor solutions.

In addition to his professional work, he serves on the Bond And Securities Investing by Students (BASIS) Advisory Board at Virginia Tech.

Mr. Mangum earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting from Virginia Tech.
